The team will debut the vehicle at the ADAC Lausitz Rally (final round of the German Rally Championship) and the Rally di Nuraghi e Vermentino (penultimate round of the Italian Gravel Rally Championship – CIRT). With this move, 4Speed Racing combines modern Rally4 performance with one of the most iconic names in rallying history.
The return of a rally icon – Why Lancia still matters
A team statement by Robert & Paul – 4Speed Racing
For us at 4Speed Racing, adding the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF to our program is more than just a technical decision — it’s a connection to something greater.
Lancia has played a legendary role in rally history. From the Fulvia HF and the iconic Stratos to the Group B Delta S4 and the dominant Delta Integrale, Lancia shaped the sport through the 1970s, ’80s and early ’90s. With 10 World Constructors’ Championships, Lancia remains the most successful manufacturer in WRC history.

Even though we didn’t witness that era live, Lancia was a constant part of our introduction to rally.Through old footage, documentaries, motorsport books and video games, the brand left a lasting impression. It represented something rare — a combination of style, performance and boldness that stood out, even in the toughest stages.

The Ypsilon Rally4 HF now marks Lancia’s return to modern rallying — and we’re proud to be part of it.With its 1.2-liter turbo engine, sequential gearbox, front-wheel drive and 212 hp, it’s a competitive platform with heritage in its veins. Developed within the Stellantis Rally4 family, it brings proven reliability and modern rally engineering to the stage.
We’ll campaign the car in the Lausitz Rallye, one of the most iconic gravel events in Germany, and at the Rally di Nuraghi e Vermentino, a highlight of the Italian gravel calendar held in the rugged landscapes of Sardinia
