ENG - Robert's first Rallye in Wittenberg

Robert's Rally Debut — 61. ADMV Rallye Lutherstadt Wittenberg, 7 March 2026

What a way to kick off a motorsport journey! On 7 March 2026, Robert took to the stages of the 61. ADMV Rallye Lutherstadt Wittenberg for his very first competitive rally — and he made it to the finish line.

The event was blessed with spring-like weather and brilliant sunshine, setting a perfect backdrop for Robert's debut behind the wheel of his Lancia HF Rally4. The four special stages covered roughly 35 km of competitive distance, with nearly 95% on gravel and sand — a proper baptism by fire across a mix of forest tracks and open field roads.

Of the 57 teams that started, many did not make it to the finish at the Wittenberger Exerzierhalle — so completing the rally was already a solid achievement in itself, especially on debut.

Results aside, Robert came away from the weekend with a clear head and honest self-reflection. "I am happy completing my first Rallye," he said, "but I need to improve my pacenotes, pace and confidence with the car." That kind of self-awareness after a first event is exactly the foundation a promising rally career is built on.

The road ahead is long — but it has started well for both brothers.
